Sending and Receiving WhatsApp Messages

Once WhatsApp is connected, you can send and receive messages directly from WRRK.

Receiving Messages

Incoming WhatsApp messages appear in two places:

1. Unified Inbox — Alongside emails and other channel messages.
2. WhatsApp Module — A dedicated view for WhatsApp conversations only.

Each conversation shows the contact name (or phone number if unknown), the latest message, timestamp, and read status.

Sending Messages

From the WhatsApp Module:

1. Open a conversation from the list.
2. Type your message in the input field at the bottom.
3. Press Enter or click Send.

From the CRM:

1. Open a contact's profile.
2. Click the WhatsApp icon in the Quick Actions section.
3. A compose panel opens with the contact's number pre-filled.

Quick Send: You can also use the WhatsApp Quick Send modal from anywhere in WRRK by pressing Ctrl+Shift+W (or Cmd+Shift+W on Mac).

Media Messages

WRRK supports sending and receiving:

• Images (JPG, PNG, GIF)
• Videos (MP4, up to 16 MB)
• Documents (PDF, DOC, XLS, etc.)
• Audio messages
• Contacts and locations

To send media, click the attachment icon in the message input and select a file.

Message Reactions

You can react to any message with an emoji. Hover over a message and click the reaction icon. Reactions from contacts are displayed as overlays on the message bubble.

Read Receipts

Blue double-check marks indicate the recipient has read your message. Single gray check means delivered but not read. WRRK respects WhatsApp's read receipt settings.

Tips

• Use canned responses (Settings > WhatsApp > Canned Responses) for frequently sent messages.
• Enable AI suggestions to get reply recommendations based on conversation context.
• Pin important conversations to the top of the list for quick access.
