Lead Routers — Routing Bookings to the Right Person

Lead Routers

A router wraps one or more booking links and decides which team member each new booking is assigned to. Use this when multiple people on your team can handle the same kind of meeting.

When to use it

• "Any salesperson can run an intro call" → round-robin router
• "Enterprise leads go to senior reps, SMB to everyone" → rule-based router
• "Region-based assignment" → rule-based router with location matching

Create a router

1. Go to Meetings > Routers → New Router
2. Members — pick the team members who can be assigned
3. Strategy:

• Round-robin — even distribution by booking count
• Round-robin (weighted) — pick a weight per member (e.g. 2:1)
• Rule-based — route based on form-field answers (company size, region, plan)

1. Form fields — required answers from the booker (used by rule-based routing)
2. Fallback — what happens if no member matches (e.g. "anyone on the team")

Routing in action

When someone visits the router's booking link, they see merged availability across all eligible members. After confirming, the booking is assigned to whichever member the strategy picks. They get the calendar invite; nobody else does.

Tracking

Each router shows assignment counts per member, so you can spot if the distribution is skewed.
