Contact Timeline and Activity Log

View and manage the complete interaction history for any contact.

Contact Timeline and Activity Log

Every contact in WRRK has a timeline that records all interactions chronologically. This gives your team complete context before reaching out.

What Appears in the Timeline

The timeline automatically captures:

  • Emails — Sent and received emails with subject lines and snippets.
  • WhatsApp Messages — Message previews with timestamps.
  • Phone Calls — Call logs with duration (if telephony is integrated).
  • Notes — Manual notes added by team members.
  • Deal Changes — When a deal associated with this contact changes stage.
  • Tasks — Task creation, assignment, and completion.
  • Form Submissions — If the contact submitted a web form or chatbot conversation.

Adding Notes

  1. Open a contact's detail page.
  2. In the timeline section, click Add Note.
  3. Type your note. You can use basic formatting (bold, italic, lists).
  4. Click Save. The note appears in the timeline with your name and timestamp.

Filtering the Timeline

Use the filter dropdown above the timeline to show specific activity types:

  • All Activities
  • Emails Only
  • WhatsApp Only
  • Notes Only
  • Deal Changes Only

Team Collaboration

Any team member with access to the contact can see the full timeline. This means:

  • Handoffs are seamless — the next person has full context.
  • No information is lost when team members change.
  • Managers can review interaction quality.

AI Summary

At the top of the timeline, AI generates a brief summary of the relationship:

  • Last interaction date and channel
  • Overall sentiment trend
  • Key topics discussed recently
  • Suggested next action

This summary updates automatically as new interactions occur.
