Step-by-step: create an agent, pick a voice, write the prompt, attach tools and knowledge base.
A voice agent is a configurable persona — voice, language, prompt, tools, and knowledge — that handles a call on your behalf.
Under Tools in the agent editor, enable any of:
Attach documents from /voice/knowledge-base so the agent can answer factual questions accurately (pricing, FAQs, policies) instead of hallucinating.
For bilingual agents, add additional languages under Additional Languages — pick a different voice for each (e.g. Rachel for English, Niraj for Hindi). The agent auto-switches based on detected caller language.
From the agent detail page, click Test Call and enter your own number to dry-run the configuration before sending it real traffic.
