Tasks — Overview
The Tasks module lives under Tools > Tasks (/tools/tasks). It's the team's central to-do board: kanban-style columns, due dates, assignees, priorities, and SLA tracking.
Views
- My Tasks — only tasks assigned to you
- All Tasks — every task in the org
- By Board — group by board (e.g. "Customer onboarding", "Sales follow-ups")
- Calendar — tasks pinned to their due dates
Creating a task
- Click New Task (top-right of any task view)
- Fill in:
- Title and description
- Assignee — single user or a team
- Due date and time
- Priority — low / medium / high / urgent
- Board — which board the task belongs to
- Tags — searchable labels
- Click Create
Statuses
Default columns: Backlog → Todo → In Progress → In Review → Done. Drag tasks between columns to update status. You can customise the column set per board under board settings.
Integration with other modules
- A new contact in CRM can auto-create a "follow up" task via Workflows
- An overdue ticket triggers an SLA-breach task
- AI Insights surface stale tasks ("3 tasks overdue this week")
Quick actions
From any task card:
- Comment — discussion thread per task
- Attach — files from S3 or local
- Link — connect the task to a CRM contact, deal, or ticket
- Subtasks — break a big task into checklist items
