Data, Privacy and Export
Data export (Settings > Data)
Export everything your org has stored in wrrk:
- Contacts — CSV with every contact and its custom fields
- Deals — CSV with stage history
- Conversations — JSON per channel (email, WhatsApp, etc.)
- Tasks — CSV
- Voice calls — CSV (metadata) + ZIP of recordings + transcripts
Click Request Export → wrrk emails you a download link within 24h. The link is single-use and expires in 7 days.
Data retention
Configurable per data type:
- Conversations — default keep forever; can be capped at 30/90/180/365 days
- Voice recordings — default 90 days; configurable
- Audit logs — default 365 days; configurable up to 7 years
Retention is enforced by a daily job that hard-deletes expired records. Once deleted, data is unrecoverable.
Privacy (Settings > Privacy)
- Analytics tracking — opt out of product analytics (Mixpanel/PostHog)
- AI training opt-out — by default wrrk does NOT train on customer data, but if our policy ever changes this toggle gives you a permanent opt-out
- PII redaction in transcripts — auto-redact phone numbers and emails from voice/chat transcripts
GDPR / data subject requests
For end-user requests (someone whose data is in your CRM wants their data deleted or exported):
- Settings > Privacy > Data Subject Request
- Search by email or phone
- Pick Export (returns all stored data for that subject) or Erase (purges the subject from every table)
Erasure is permanent and cascade-deletes from related records (conversations, deals, tasks).
Account deletion
To delete the whole org:
- Settings > Organisation > Delete Organisation
- Type the org name to confirm
- A 30-day grace period starts — restorable until then
- After 30 days, hard delete; unrecoverable
