Browser Extension — Overview & Setup
The wrrk browser extension brings your workspace into every tab — and adds an AI agent that can browse and act on the web for you, right inside your own logged-in browser.
What it does
- AI browsing agent — describe a task in plain language ("connect with the 5 people on this LinkedIn search and add a note") and the agent perceives the page and carries it out: clicking, typing, scrolling, navigating, and working across multiple tabs.
- Side panel — a panel you open on any page to start a task, watch each step live, see recent tasks, and stop a run at any time.
- Capture & quick actions — save the page or selection into wrrk.
Install
- Install wrrk from the Chrome Web Store (Chrome / Edge / Brave).
- Pin it so the icon is always visible.
- Open the side panel from the extension icon.
Signing in — no separate password
The extension uses your existing wrrk browser session. Sign in once at wrrk.ai in any tab, and the extension picks up that session automatically — there's no second login. If you ever see "session expired," just open a wrrk.ai tab and sign in again; the extension recovers on its own.
How it stays safe
- It acts in your own browser, as you — it can only do what you could already do while logged in. It can't access sites you're not signed into.
- Every run is step-by-step and visible in the side panel, and you can Stop instantly.
- The agent works inside a dedicated "wrrk agent" tab group so its tabs are easy to spot.
Costs
The agent's reasoning runs on Claude and consumes a small number of credits per step. You'll see runs in the side panel's recent-tasks list; longer tasks use more steps.
Troubleshooting
- "Not signed in" — open wrrk.ai, sign in, then retry. The panel refreshes automatically once a session is detected.
- The agent can't find a button — some content loads late or sits inside menus; ask it to "open the menu and look again," or scroll to the section first.
- It drifted to the wrong place — hit Stop and restart with a more specific instruction (include the exact page or search URL).
