Connecting Discord

Discord connects via OAuth — you authorise a wrrk Discord bot to read and post in your server's channels.

Connect

Go to Discord in the wrrk sidebar
Click Authorize with Discord
Pick the Discord server you want to connect
Review the requested permissions:

Read messages
Send messages
Manage channels (for read-state tracking)
Use slash commands

Click Authorize

You're redirected back to wrrk and the channel list loads.

What's shown

The page is a two-pane Discord inbox:

Left — channel list (search, text/voice indicators, unread badges)
Right — selected channel's message thread

You can send messages from wrrk; they post as the wrrk bot. Voice channels are listed but not joinable from wrrk (voice traffic stays in Discord native clients).

Slash commands

The wrrk bot registers a few slash commands inside Discord:

/wrrk-ticket — convert the current message into a CRM ticket
/wrrk-contact — pull the author into the CRM as a contact

Permissions

If a channel is private, the wrrk bot needs to be explicitly added to that channel. In Discord, go to Channel Settings > Permissions > wrrk bot > Allow.

Disconnecting

Tools > Integrations > Discord > Disconnect removes the bot and stops syncing. Channel history already pulled stays in wrrk.

Troubleshooting

No channels shown — the bot has read access to the server but not individual channels. Add it to channels manually
Auth loop — clear cookies and re-authorize; usually fixes stale OAuth state
